Lindsey And Mom Get A Tree

Lindsey and Laurie have been asking for a tree in our yard forever. They said they wanted some shade. However, I hate trees because they produce leaves and I cannot STAND raking leaves. Our first house had about 10 big trees and we spent a lot of the fall raking.

Tuesday was Earth Day and every child at Lindsey's school got a tree. She begged me to plant it, so, of course, I did. The only thing is, it's so small it's not going to produce shade in our yard until Lindsey is in college!
