First Day in 5th Grade

I cannot believe my baby's in 5th grade!!! She should still be in Kindergarten!! Next year.... Middle school.... :(

Baltimore

We spent one day in Baltimore with Uncle Bradley at the National Aquarium.  Lindsey took so many pictures of fish I couldn't post them all!


Day Two : US Capitol and Museums

On the second day in DC we went to see the US capitol and some of the museums around town.

Our trip to Washington DC

We took a trip to Baltimore and Washington D.C. to visit uncle Bradley.  On the first day we did A LOT of walking.  We saw ALL the monuments... we actually did TOO much walking.  So much our feet hurt!!

4th of July

As we did last year we shot fireworks in the street with our neighbors... we had some neighbors one street over that REALLY spent the money... so much that the cops were called on us!

Lindsey's 4th Grade Award Ceremony

Lindsey had her 4th grade recognition ceremony on June 8th.  We are so lucky that she does so well in school.  She got 1st place for all of 4th grade for Accellerated Reader points and she got all A's.

Carver DI goes to Globals!!!

After Lindsey's DI team won regionals and state... they got to go to globals for a second year in a row in Knoxville, TN.  This year they improved on their global performance from the year before... placing 13th out of 49 teams!  We were so proud!

Easter 2011

We spent Easter in Searcy this year. Lindsey and Anna hunted eggs in the back yard... and lindsey used the wagon to collect her eggs!

Easter Egg Hunt With Anna

We took Lindsey and Anna to an Easter egg hunt at the Clinton Library but whenwe got there all the eggs had already been hunted... but we still had fun bouncing in the bouncy things and petting animals.

Spring Break - Pinnacle Mountain

On spring break we also went to climb Pinnacle Mountain. Lindsey, as alway, ran up it like a mountain goat. It was perfect weather so the climb wasn't too bad.

Spring Break - Zoo

Over spring break we went to the zoo. It was was the first time we had seen the new penguin exhibit. Lindsey spent most of the time taking a ton of pictures of animals.
