The Shamu Show

Lindsey was also amazed at the Shamu show at Sea World. You should have seen her face the first time the killer whale jumped out of the water and did a flip. Her jaw dropped to the floor!! She was smiling ear to ear the entire show. If you look carefully at one of the pictures... there is a trainer on the nose of shamu as he is jumping out of the water. I was even amazed by that! We liked this show so much we went to see a different shamu show later in the day.

Lindsey's First Trip To 6 Flags

On Wednesday of our trip we went to 6 flags. We had fun riding rides and seeing shows. Lindsey liked the ferris wheel since she could see for miles (there is a picture of her on that ride on here). But she said her favorite ride was the "haunted" Scooby Doo ride. On this ride we had guns and we shot ghosts and things all through the ride. She didn't want to go on it at first because she was scared... but she liked it so much we rode it a 2nd time. Another thing she liked seeing at 6 flags was all the Looney Toons characters. We got to see a show with them and there was also a parade featuring them.

Lindsey Plays At Children's Museum Of San Antonio

Our last stop on Tuesday was in downtown San Antonio. We went to the Children's Museum of San Antonio. I thought by this time Lindsey would have been exhausted...but when we got there she played for two hours without stopping. She got to dig for treasures in sand, "fly" an airplane, "milk" a cow, "dig" in a garden... and much, much more.

Lindsey At Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch

Since it had not rained by the time we got out of the caverns we decided to go to a wildlife ranch that was beside the caverns. This is one that has a petting zoo as well as a drive through ranch where the animals walk up to your car and you can feed them. As you can see from the pictures, some of them poked their heads right in the car!! That scared Lindsey.... but after a while it made her laugh.

Lindsey At Natural Bridge Caverns

The meteorologists here in San Antonio said it was supposed to rain all today....70% chance. So we rearranged our plans for Tuesday (we were supposed to go to Six Flags) and planned to do things inside. So, the first thing we did was go to Natural Bridge Caverns. Lindsey thought the caverns were cool, but the walk in and out of the caverns was steep and she got tired! (one note about the meteorologists here... it didn't rain a drop anywhere we were today!!)

Lindsey's First Plane Ride

Today we left for our first family vacation! We got on a plane with Me Me and GrandDad and went to San Antonio, TX. This is Lindsey's first plane ride. She LOVED it. She just sat there and looked out the window and kept talking about how small everything was. She was so cute with her little Dora suitcase that she carried on the plane. She wheeled it through the airport like she had done it a million times!
