Christmas At Mi Mi and Grand Dad's

We went to Lindsey's MiMi and Grand Dad's Christmas night. We ate a TON and got a TON of gifts as always. My dainty princess with her Storm Trooper helmet.
Lindsey and Anna with their Great Grandmothers.
Lindsey gets new "big girl" luggage. (no more Dora!)

My beautiful Nerf dart-shooting Storm Trooper.

Lindsey waited until 7am to get up for Christmas. I was SO pleased we got to "sleep in." She came in bed and said "I have a bunch of presents. I must have been good. They're all wrapped in green." She spent all Christmas day playing : We all sat down and played her new Disney DVD game; Lindsey and I ran around the house shooting each other with her Nerf Dart game; and as I am writing this, Lindsey is in the second hour of playing Madagascar 2 on the Wii.

Lindsey's School Christmas Party

On the last day before Christmas break Lindsey had her school Christmas party. Of course this meant the kids ate tons of sugar! However, they were really well behaved. All Lindsey wanted to eat were brownies. I tried to get her to eat an apple slice that had the peel on it, but I didn't know she didn't like apples with peels..... it made her start gagging (she does the same thing with peanuts... we don't know why). But luckily she kept everything down.... and made then I felt bad because I was trying to get her to eat something healthy on a day she could eat junk! By the way, it was also pajama day... that's why they are all in their pj's.

Lindsey Has Her First Sleepover

Lindsey asked us to have a sleepover and, of course, wanted to invite most of the school. But we limited it to inviting over 6 of her friends... so we had 7 8-year-olds in our house. I thought it was going to be crazy, but it really wasn't that bad. I thought all the girls were pretty well behaved.
