Hollywood Studios
On our second day in Florida we went to Disney's Hollywood studios. It is a theme park based on the movies. Some of Lindsey's favorite things we did were the Beauty and the Beast show, Little Mermaid show, and the Indiana Jones Stunt show.
The afternoon character parade.
While we were waiting on the backlot tour a thunderstorm rolled up... we sat there for a while, but ended up leaving the ride because the rain just kept coming.

All the Disney characters on a boat in the end-of-the-day show.
When we first got there we stumbled upon a High School Musical show... Lindsey was very excited.

Lindsey wasn't as excited today to meet the characters for some reason.

The Beach
On our third day in Florida we took Lindsey to the beach. This was her first trip to the ocean. We went to Siesta Key on the gulf side of Florida. We were kind of in a race against time because we knew it was going to rain most of the day and we had a 2 hour drive to the beach. We got to the beach and had an hour before it started raining. I thought that was going to upset Lindsey but, she didn't seem to mind.
Making a sand castle.

This is video of Lindsey's first steps into the ocean. She liked it then. After a while, she didn't like the salt water in her mouth! She ended up spending more time playing in the sand.
Disney's Animal Kingdom
On our last day in Florida we went to Disney's Animal Kingdom. It's basically a big zoo, so Lindsey loved it. There were two really cool shows there... Finding Nemo and The Lion King.

Lindsey Learned To Swim!
Lindsey's Swimming Lessons
We decided this summer to get Lindsey private swimming lessons since she isn't really swimming yet. She had her first lesson last week. She likes it, but still wasn't quite swimming at the end of the lesson.... she has more to come.

Lindsey's Sand Box
A few days ago I got some more sand for Lindsey's sand box. (She had knocked most of it out over the last few years.) Because of that she's played in it a lot lately. Yesterday she made the Grand Canyon. She insisted on playing in it today even though it was 90 degrees outside. She didn't care about the heat. She just played and played.
