Lindsey fell asleep on the way back from Hollywood. It was a LATE night for her!

This year we took our family vacation to Los Angeles. We left early on Wednesday and got there in time to do some things. On the first day we went to Hollywood and walked on the "walk of fame," visited Mann's Chinese Theatre, and went to Universal City Walk.

Lindsey won 1st place!!!

Today Lindsey had her 2nd grade awards ceremony. She got the Classroom Leader Award, Art Award, Math Wizard Award, Ravenous Reader Award, an Accelerated Reader Certificate of Achievement, and the 1st place Accelerated Reader trophy for all of 2nd grade!!! To get the accelerated reader 1st place she had to read books and take tests about those books. The harder the books, the more points she got. She finished the year with 100.4 points. It helped that she read some of the Cronicles of Narnia this year... yes, in the 2nd grade! I'm so proud of her.

2009 Mom's Day

This year we celebrated Mother's Day at Mi Mi's cafe.... because Me Me likes it! Mi Mi got some stocking hangers for Christmas and Laurie got tickets to see Seinfeld.

One Saturday in April we planted some flowers in our back flower garden. It's totally different this year than last.

Easter 2009

We went to Lindsey's Me Me and Granddad's house for Easter. It was raining hard and cold so we hunted easter eggs inside.

Lindsey's team is getting so much better. They should have won this game. They lost 4-3... Lindsey said they tied 4-4. Who knows what the score was?? All that matters is they are getting better!
