The daughter of one of my co-workers, Mary, turned 2 in November. They had a party for her in their front yard with a big bouncy dinosaur. When we pulled up to the party Lindsey said "Cool, Super cool!" She had a blast bouncing around with all the kids.
This year for halloween Lindsey was Wonder Woman. She went trick or treating in our neighborhood with her friend Kevin and his sister Rosie. She has tons of candy that I don't think she will ever eat!
Laurie and Lindsey carved three pumpkins to put outside our house for Halloween. If you look closely at the picture of the three finished pumpkins... you can see a little pumpkin that Lindsey painted that she insisted on sitting with the others. She called them "the mommy, daddy, and brother to the baby pumpkin."
On Sunday we took Lindsey to the state fair. She had a lot of fun riding all the rides and feeding the animals in the petting zoo with her friend Robert. It looks like we have a little roller coaster fan on our hands. She rode a kiddie roller coaster and when they went down the hills, she laughed and screamed!
Even before we had children we started a tradition of driving to Grady to go the pumpkin patch. On Saturday we went with all of our (and Lindsey's) friends. I think this is the 8th year we've been. There is a ton to do there besides going to pick a pumpkin. There is a hay ride, tons of hay piles to play in, a huge slide to play on, animals to feed and pet, and good food!
At the pumpkin patch Lindsey and Robert wanted to get their faces painted. Of course, Lindsey could have chosen to have a butterfly or a flower painted on her face... but as you can see, she chose a skull!
