2009 Christmas

Lindsey got a TON of stuff from Santa again this year... lots of spy gear and Avatar toys. We thought she was feeling better after the Christmas Eve illness, but I think she was just excited. After she opened her gifts she laid down ALL day... we watched movies all day. She didn't fell better until December 27th... poor baby. She told Laurie, "this is the worst Christmas ever." It broke my heart!

Christmas Eve 2009

We went to Searcy for Christmas Eve to have Christmas with Mi Mi and Grand dad. Lindsey woke up that morning and said she didn't feel well. We knew there was a problem when she got to MiMi's and took a nap. She barley could sit up while she opened her presents. We had to leave early because she felt so bad.

We got Anna a baby doll that crawls around. It was moving under the wrapping paper... it was funny to see her walk up to it before she opened the present!!

Anna Visits Again

Anna came to stay with us Friday night so Kevin and Darla could go out. When Lindsey sat down to eat dinner, Anna insisted on sitting in the SAME chair as Lindsey.

Christmas Parade

Lindsey got to march in the Christmas parade for the first time this year! She had an opportunity to do so a few years ago, but it ended up being on the same day as the Hannah Montana concert... so she had to chose... and she chose the concert. She marched with her girl scout troop from her school. It was COLD!!! VERY COLD!! We had like 3 layers on her. It was so cold we didn't stick around for the fireworks and the lighting of the capitol.

Sugar Plum Ball 2009

Lindsey and I yet again went to the Sugar Plum Ball that raises money for CARTI. It's cute. We walk in and they announce the couples over the loud speaker. They give Lindsey a crown... and then we dance!! I asked Lindsey how many years we've been and she couldn't remember. I cannot either! But it's at least 4.... probably 5.

My Baby Turns 9!

I cannot believe my baby turned 9! We had her party at Jump Zone Thanksgiving weekend. I was afraid nobody would come because of that but there were tons of kids there! It was a great weekend to have it because there was only 1 other party there with hers...and that wasn't until the end. Lindsey chose her cake to be a soccer cake. She loves soccer now!

Putting Up the Tree

Every year we put up our Christmas tree on Thanksgiving weekend and listen to Christmas music. It's nice quality family time... even though Lindsey kept asking if the neighbors could come over to help! We told her "no."

Anna Spent the Night!

Anna spent the night last night... she and Lindsey were snuggling on the couch this morning. How cute!

Lindsey's First Drum Club Performance

Lindsey is a memeber of the drum club at school. Today they performed at Barnes and Noble as a part of a fundraiser for the school. Part of the purchases at the bookstore go to the school and the clubs they have.

Anna came to see the drum club performance... she was all ready with her backpack!

Trick Or Treat!!

Halloween was on Saturday this year. Lindsey decided to be a sorcerer... or witch... or vampire...or whatever she was. MiMi and Grandad came and spent the evening with us. Little cousin Anna also came over to trick or treat for a bit with us.
