Decorating The Tree

This is where this one needs to go.
Where's that santa?
Look at our pretty tree!

It's a tradition in our house to decorate the tree the weekend after Thanksgiving. Every year Lindsey gets better at decorating. However, this year she was putting the ornaments on the tree in clumps by catagory.... all the santa's together, all the snowmen together, ect. When I tried to spread them out, she got MAD. It was funny. She said "where did the santa go?" I have no idea how she knew one was gone.

Thanksgiving At Me Me and Grandad's

For Thanksgiving we went to Me Me and Grandad's house. Most of the family was there to eat all the turkey and dressing they could. While we were there, Kevin and Darla got some baby gifts for their little girl. They are due in January and Lindsey will have a little cousin... she is very excited!

Breakfast With Santa

This morning Laurie took Lindsey to a breakfast with Santa. Lindsey got to sit on Santa's lap and she told him she wanted the dog that grows.... I guess Santa will have to figure out what that is!

Daddy / Daughter Dance

Friday night Lindsey's school had their annual daddy/daughter dance. We didn't stay that long because it was the day after the Sugar Plum dance... so we were both tired! But Lindsey still had fun dancing with her friend's from school.

Yet again this year Lindsey and I went and danced the night away at the sugar plum ball that raises money for cancer patients. This year my mom's best friend's son brought his daughter, Madison. At one point in the evening we lost them because there were so many people there and Lindsey got upset. We were about to leave and then we found them again and ended up staying until they turned off the music.

Grannie Gets Best Personality At State Pageant

As I told you guys in an earlier post... Grannie won her local nursing home pageant a few months ago. After that she won the regional pageant which sent her to the state competition! There were 8 contestants and she was the youngest at 80 years young! The oldest beauty was 102! She had some really stiff competition and ended up getting awarded best personality. We are very proud of her.
