Lindsey was a cheetah for halloween. Robert came over to trick or treat with us... he was a power ranger. Of course, we went around with Lindsey's friends from across the street, Kevin and Rosie. Kevin was a creepy monster and Rosie was a princess. By the time we got back home Lindsey couldn't carry her bucket because of all the candy she got.

A few weekends back Lindsey and Laurie went to the pumpkin patch with a bunch of our friends with children. Lindsey picked out two pumpkins to carve for halloween.

Sunday we took Robert and Lindsey to the state fair. It seems like we just went to last year's fair just a few weeks ago! This year Lindsey actually got sick at the fair. She drank a lot of Dr. Pepper and a few rides later it all came back up! I got motion sickness a lot as a child.. I hope she doesn't start getting sick like I did! Despite that, she still had a great time.

Robert had his 5th birthday party at the bowling alley again. The kids played a game... and the adults played. Lindsey won the kid's game and Matthew Carroll won the adult's game.

Wye Mountain Daffodills

Saturday we went to Wye Mountain with Chuck, Annette, and Robert to go look at the Daffodills. Every year in the spring thousands and thousands of daffodills bloom in Wye. They were planted there years ago by a local church and they use the flowers to raise funds for the church. Lindsey picked some of the flowers and brought them home with us.

2006 Arkansas State Fair

On Sunday we took Lindsey to the state fair. She had a lot of fun riding all the rides and feeding the animals in the petting zoo with her friend Robert. It looks like we have a little roller coaster fan on our hands. She rode a kiddie roller coaster and when they went down the hills, she laughed and screamed!

At the pumpkin patch Lindsey and Robert wanted to get their faces painted. Of course, Lindsey could have chosen to have a butterfly or a flower painted on her face... but as you can see, she chose a skull!
