Lindsey Scores 3 Goals!

Lindsey's team played their second game this week and they looked a lot better. (They actually got to practice!) They lost 11-7... I believe it was because it was hot and humid, the ref was stopping the clock after every dead ball (he wasn't supposed to) which made the game almost an hour and a half (usually they play just under an hour), and they only had 5 girls so they only had one girl to sub in and out. All the girls were dead by the end of the game. But the best thing is Lindsey scored 3 goals!!! She only scored 1 all of last season. She scored the first goal of the game. We were soooo excited.

Back To School Bash 2008

Friday was the back to school bash at Lindsey's school. Lots of pizza and games for the kids. We didn't stay long because it started storming and most of the activities were outside.

Kramer

I don't think I've never put a picture of Lindsey's cat on here. Laurie's birthday was this weekend and that means we've had Kramer for 11 years now... I got him for Laurie for her birthday our first year of marriage. Isn't he cute? See, he's not mean!

Soccer Begins Again

Lindsey is playing soccer again this fall. Her team got a late start this year and could not practice before their game because it rained all week thanks to Gustav. So, they played their first game this weekend without ever practicing. They did pretty good for never playing with each other. Lindsey seemed to pick up right where she left off last spring. The girls wanted their team to be "The Wasps" but coach Amy changed her mind and said she wanted them to be called "The Bulldogs" because they were too timid and she wanted them to be aggressive!

Anna Comes To Visit

Two times in the past few weeks Anna has come to visit us. In those weeks she's started crawling. She just LOVES Lindsey.

Lindsey Starts 2nd Grade

Today Lindsey started 2nd grade.... yes, 2nd grade. It seems like she just started kindergarten. She was styling her Camp Rock backpack and lunch box. She wouldn't tell me much about her first day. She said her normal "I don't want to talk about it."
