Spring Break At The Zoo

I forgot to post this picture a few weeks ago. When Laurie and Lindsey were on spring break they went to the zoo. This was a cute picture that Laurie took of Lindsey and a big grizzly bear!

Pinnacle Mountain

Laurie and Lindsey have been on spring break this week. Lindsey asked Laurie to take her to Pinnacle Mountain, so they took one of Lindsey's friends from the neighborhood, Kayana. Laurie said Lindsey was like a mountain goat, running up the mountain. Laurie and Kayana couldn't keep up with her. Lindsey has already asked me to take her back to the mountain.

Easter 2008

There's one in a bush...

RUN!!! It's getting dark!
There's one in a tree...

Because Uncle Kevin and I had tickets to the NCAA tournament, we had Easter on Saturday this year. Lindsey and Laurie spent the afternoon dying easter eggs and then we went to my mother's house. We almost waited too long to hunt easter eggs... it was getting dark outside.

No Soccer! First Snow, Now Flooding

This week Lindsey was not supposed to have soccer because it was Easter weekend. But two weeks ago we got snow (as you saw on her blog) and a game was snowed out. It was rescheduled for today. Well, earlier in the week we got a LOT of rain. Some parts of the state got a foot in 24 hours! Because of this, many places in the state are flooded.... including the soccer fields Lindsey plays on. She likes to play in water puddles, but this would be a little much! (see the soccer goals in the middle of the water?)

Tooth Number 4 is FINALLY Gone

Now she has a big gap in the middle!

Lindsey has had a tooth literally hanging out of her mouth for a few weeks now. She would not let us pull it. It was barely hanging on by a little piece of skin. Earlier this week I BEGGED her to let me pull it and she said no and just cried and cried. But, on Friday morning she came into our room and woke us up and said "It's time." We said "For what?" She said "To pull my tooth." It was funny because she was so serious. She then went into her bathroom and pulled her tooth.

Lindsey's New Friend

On Thursday night our friend's Chuck and Annette had their second baby. They are the parents of Robert, who Lindsey plays with a lot. They had a little girl, Emma. She was 9 pounds, 5 ounces.
